Today is the start of my 15th year at my school; JT starts his 14th year at a school that has been - and remains - the center of our lives. It’s a privilege to walk into the 11th grade on the same campus where your mama once walked you to pre-K 3.
Well, I certainly feel that way. JT is still hoping for a career in which he is well-compensated for showering, watching sports, reading Sports Illustrated, and eating food that he neither prepared nor paid-for. Until that opportunity materializes, he goes to school. He’s excited about PE class and his sports teams; he intends to tolerate the rest of it.
Here we go!
