So JT and I had several hours to idle away the Seattle airport yesterday. And much to my dismay, I discovered that there was no free wifi at the airport. Great views of the city, tasty clam chowder, but no free wifi. What's that about, Microsoft Corporation?

It's not Microsoft, but the airports, who pretend to be all about getting you on your way, but who are in fact counting on being able to milk you for every cent while you're a captive in their space... witness airport shopping malls, ridiculously overpriced and gag-inducing airport food, and gouge-level pricing for WiFi access.
If there were an airport that advertised free WiFi, it would probably turn into a major hub on the strength of that alone.
Because you're not the only one who gets twitchy without your connection...
