I am fond of making jokes at the expense of sensible midwesterners. In fact, I like to believe that I've turned it into something of an art form. But the facts demonstrate that our nation could use a little more common sense in the conduct of our politics. So it is that I am directing y'all to read the wisdom of the sage of the prairie, Warren Buffet.

Isn't it funny how retailers like Gucci and Prada and Coach all had increased profits during the recession while even Wal Mart wasn't having expected profit gains?? It isn't rocket science. Not only are the poor and middle class suffering, but we also often point fingers at families on welfare as being the bad guys in our economy. Seriously, people, wake the fuck up. Stop telling me that we need to cut social programs to save our economy. It's a lie, and it's cruel.
